Controlled use of combustion has changed the shape of industrial applications in recent years.

Today's industry is seeking multi-fuel flexibility, lower operating costs, automated operation and lower emission levels, as air pollution norms become more stringent.

Ensah is pleased to offer bottom-fed stoker technology to industries needing it. Bottom-fed uses gasification and combustion of fuel for complete combustion.

The bottom-fed stoker provides smokeless, quiet and efficient combustion for multiple fuels to partially or for loads.

The fuel supply system consists of a rotary hopper and a screw feeder. The dosing chamber provides a small amount of fuel and helps prevent air intake from the fuel supply side. The screw feeder pushes the fuel into the bottom fed stoker. Therefore, fresh fuel is consumed continuously and away from combustion.

Specially designed castings are mounted on both sides of the stoker. The air required for combustion is supplied via air boxes on both sides.

Air penetrates the fuel stack through the nozzles provided. When the fuel is burned, gasification of the fuel on the upper heat layer facilitates volatile release and subsequent combustion. The stable combustion of fixed carbon or coal takes place on flat surfaces with combustion cells.

Options are offered according to different production capacities as front hearth, skirted and half-cylindrical types.
