MOVING GRATE THERMAL OIL BOILERS

Moving Grate Hot Oil Boilers are high-performance systems designed for efficient and safe heat generation and transfer at elevated temperatures. These boilers utilize solid fuel combustion to heat a specialized thermal carrier fluid—hot oil. Once heated, the oil is circulated through the system via pumps to facilitate heat transfer. This thermal oil medium allows for significant distances between the boiler and the heating application, offering greater architectural flexibility in plant layout.

Engineered with a vertical configuration atop a robust steel platform, these boilers are designed in either two-pass or three-pass arrangements depending on the required capacity. The boiler unit is centrally integrated with the moving grate, where custom refractory brick and concrete applications are employed to maximize thermal efficiency and minimize heat loss.

Operational precision is achieved through a proportional control system. The boiler automatically synchronizes the grate speed, fuel feed rate, and combustion air fan speeds to maintain the target temperature. Furthermore, unlike water-based systems, the chemical properties of thermal oil prevent common maintenance issues such as corrosion and scaling, ensuring long-term system integrity and consistent efficiency.
