Ensah is proud to offer underfeed stoker technology for industries requiring reliable and efficient solid fuel combustion. Underfeed stoker systems utilize controlled gasification and combustion of fuel to ensure complete and efficient burning.
The underfeed stoker provides smokeless, quiet, and efficient combustion for a wide range of fuels under partial or full load conditions.
The fuel feeding system consists of a screw feeder and rotary distribution mechanism. The dosing chamber supplies a controlled amount of fuel and prevents unwanted air intake from the fuel feeding side. The screw feeder continuously pushes the fuel into the underfeed stoker, ensuring steady fuel supply while fresh fuel is fed from below the combustion zone.
Specially designed cast iron components are installed on both sides of the stoker. The air required for combustion is supplied through air boxes located on both sides.Combustion air enters the fuel bed through specially designed nozzles. As the fuel burns, gasification occurs in the upper fuel layer, releasing volatile gases that subsequently ignite and burn. Stable combustion of fixed carbon or coal takes place on flat combustion surfaces equipped with combustion cells.
